My Favorite YouTube Channels About Korea

YouTube has been a huge resource in my learning about Korean culture and language. Here are a few of my favorite channels!

***My FAVORITE YouTube channels are JOLLY and Korean Englishman. Josh and Ollie are hilarious and genuine, and love to share all kinds of cultures with all kinds of people. All of their videos have Korean and English subtitles.***

  • HojuSara (formerly SeoulSarang). "Hoju" is the Korean word for Australia. Sara, an Australian who spends a lot of time in Korea, does many of her videos in Korean with English subtitles, which is great for listening comprehension!
  • 2hearts1seoul is another multi-cultural couple. She's Canadian and he's Korean. Mostly they vlog about their life in Seoul. Their videos are sweet and well-filmed, plus there's lots of footage of them just talking to their cat, so they get brownie points in my book for that.

  • TalkToMeInKorean is a language learning channel and IT IS THE BEST. It's my favorite resource for learning Korean, and it's been the most helpful to me. One of the hosts, Hyunwoo Sun, has his own channel, linked here, and another of the hosts has her own channel linked here.

  • Mina Oh teaches Korean on her channel sweetandtastyTV and her videos are all very well filmed and taught! She has a ton of useful videos about Korean language and culture. She's also a major foodie and has lots of videos about Korean food.

Happy watching!
