Welcome!

Hi there! My name is Chelsea. I'm originally from Florida, USA, but I presently live in South Korea. My Korean name is Kang DaEun :)

I created my instagram @agirlinincheon for two basic purposes: the first is simply to share what my life is like here in Korea, and help my friends back home gain some understanding and appreciation of Korean culture, which I love. My experiences are personal and in no way reflect the life of every foreigner living here.

The second is to give helpful tips & how-tos for others who want to visit or live in Korea! Living as a foreigner isn't always easy, even despite how much you love a place. My aim is to make my Instagram posts quick, simple, & informative.

This blog was originally a private blog for my friends and family when I moved to Korea in 2016. Now, in 2019, I make it public so I can share with more people!
